Thank You Notes to Rev. Barbara Lodge

Thank You Notes... 1.. . 2

I love my wedding ministry! I get to work with people at some of the happiest and most important times in their lives. That they later write such kind thank you notes and online reviews is deeply touching.

Included here are a few examples of their Thank You notes.

You can also read reviews they and others have written.

Barbara,

Thank you so much for officiating our wedding! The ceremony was beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. We truly appreciate the time you spent with us to help make our ceremony unique and special. It went by so quickly but we will never forget it! Our guests have also told us how much they enjoyed it so we just wanted to pass that along. Thank you again for playing such an important role in our special day!

P.S. You were right about the “wedding bubble” that day and it definitely helped keep me calm!

Hey, Rev. Lodge,

I just wanted to say thanks for everything yesterday. It was an amazing day. Everyone was in awe of both of you up on the stage. They really loved what y’all did together. It was a very magical day for Linda and me.

Thank you, thank you for being so amazing and comforting up there. We loved the kind words you said about us. The whole thing was very smooth and very well done. We’re both very happy with how things went. And Linda wanted to say she appreciated you [going slowly with] the vows. It helped her a lot.

Thanks again!!

Love,

Avi & Linda

When they read their ceremony the first time...

It's beautiful!  You had us bawling like babies! We're going to have to read it over and over again and practice our vows so we don't crumble up there in front of everyone. It's going to be so perfect. Thank you for putting together a wonderful ceremony for us. We're very happy with it.

Their thank you note after the wedding...

Jackie and I are in the emotional high we felt [at the wedding] and all the feelings that swirled around us. I think we're still processing it all and expect to be absorbing the experience for some time to come.

In more practical terms, we have been blown away by the responses we've received from family and friends about our ceremony. We had hoped that everyone would feel the sincerity of our intentions -- and they did -- but their comments suggest they experienced a much deeper awareness and connection with us than we could have imagined or even hoped for. We have heard comments like "The best wedding I have ever been to" (that's been said many times to both or us), "the most moving ceremony" and "an incredible experience to witness."  We both feel that we have you to thank for our guests' positive reaction to witnessing the ceremony, as well as our own in going through it. You helped us create a truly wonderful ceremony that captured very well our intentions and the love we share. Judging by the reactions from our friends, it was a joyous event shared, and who doesn't want to say that about their wedding, right?!

We also heard so many compliments about you and your presence in the ceremony. This was exactly why we wanted to work with you and why we wanted  to have you guiding our ceremony. We knew without knowing that you would create the environment we needed to be present and real in front of our friends and family. Actually doing that was less difficult than the anticipation of speaking those vows. But we had such trust and faith in you, even if we didn't have the same in ourselves. We were able to be in the moment and focus completely on each other and the words we were speaking. It is still amazing to think about.

How can we really tell you what all this means to us? Thank you isn't sufficient. We feel so much gratitude for your participation and guidance through this process that we want to somehow communicate that appreciation. I don't know that we can. It was a very special moment for us that will be with us forever. That's the gift you've given us, and we will be forever grateful.  Thank you.

Peace,

Audrey

Such a sweet wedding, celebrating love and family. Before going out the aisle, they all did an amazing, choreographed family dance! You can read about it in my blog post about this fun blended family wedding.

Barbara,

We can’t thank you enough for the time you took to get to know us and to write a ceremony that perfectly captured who we are as a couple and as a family.

We feel truly blessed to have been able to connect with you and have you play such an intimate and most important role in our lives.

We thoroughly enjoyed honeymooning in Barbados and would recommend it to anyone. We have officially become ‘The Hendersons’ now and, again, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We loved the ceremony you wrote for us and really enjoyed actually getting to say the words out loud and perform the actions. It was everything I thought it would be!

We had such a great experience working with you on our wedding - before and during - and we would be more than happy to write a glowing review. In fact, when we were in Jamaica for our honeymoon, we met a couple from Raleigh whose daughter was recently engaged and planning a local wedding! The mother wrote down all the recommendations we gave her, including your name.
